Torquay United striker Jamie Reid is the joint top scorer across England's top five divisions so far this season.

The 25-year-old former Exeter City forward has followed up a prolific promotion season with the Gulls in the National South last season with 14 goals in the National League this term.

A double against Halifax Town last weekend added to his growing reputation and helped lift Torquay to 5th in the fifth tier, two points behind leaders Bromley.

Only Swindon Town's Eoin Doyle - with 14 League Two goals during the current campaign - can match Reid's goalscoring feats.

The in-form Reid is certainly one to watch and his current form does not bode well for struggling Sutton United - who visit Plainmoor in the Gulls' next National League fixture.
