Brazilian forward Richarlison has signed a new deal with Everton that extends until the summer of 2024.
A product of the Fluminense academy in Brazil, Richarlison joined the Toffees from Watford in July 2018 and has since hit 20 goals in 55 appearances across all competitions.
The 22-year-old is a regular for Brazil and has earned 19 caps for his country - scoring six goals.
Blood, sweat and tears
Speaking after signing his new deal, Richarlison said:
"I intend to be here a long time. This was the club which gave me the opportunity to show my football.
"It was here I managed to get a place in the Brazil national team and it was here I have scored lots of goals in the Premier League."
"I go out and put my life on the line for them. I try to sweat, blood and tears for this club. I intend to continue honouring the shirt and making the fans happy."
Richarlison will be a key man for Marco Silva's Toffees in the Merseyside derby against Liverpool tonight.
Jurgen Klopp's Reds have only dropped two points all season, but a win would be a huge boost for SIlva, whose job is in the balance after a poor run of results.
🗣 | "I try to pay back the Evertonians' affection. I try to sweat blood and tears for this Club. I intend to continue honouring the shirt."
