England to face Italy in friendly

Gareth Southgate's England will take on Italy as part of their pre-tournament preparations for Euro 2020.

Ranked 13th in the world, nine places below England, the Azzurri finished qualification for the European Championships with a 100% record.

The clash at Wembley is scheduled for Friday 27 March and will be the first of four friendlies for the Three Lions ahead of the Euros.

England also play Denmark at Wembley on 31 March, Austria in Vienna on 2 June and Romania in another home game on 7 June.
