Championship side Derby County face a possible points deduction after being charged by the English Football League for a breach of spending rules.
The charge dates back to losses racked up in the three years prior to June 2018 - despite the Rams selling their stadium to owner Mel Morris for £80million, which saw them make a pre-tax profit of £14.6m, according to their 2017-18 accounts.
EFL spending rules permit Championship clubs to lose £39m over a three-year period.
Derby's case has now been referred to an Independent Disciplinary Commission.
Birmingham City have already been deducted nine points by the EFL for breaching profitability and sustainability rules.
A similar points deduction could prove costly for The Rams who are currently 17th in the Championship, 10 points clear of the relegation places.
