It may have been the last weekend before the first-ever Premier League winter break, but the EFL made the running, in terms of quality strikes last weekend.
Feast your eyes on Playmaker's top five goals from around the land over the weekend that was.
Dennis Politic (Bolton 2-0 Tranmere)
Bolton look set for relegation after their points deduction, but they aren't going down without a fight. As the ball was pushed outside the box, up stepped Dennis Politic to beautifully strike the ball home and get the ball rolling for Wanderers in their win against struggling Tranmere.
Odin Bailey (Grimsby 2-2 Forest Green)
Forest Green's form has taken a drastic downturn in recent weeks, but this stunner by Odin Bailey gave them something to shout about in their draw at Grimsby.
Elliot Watt (Mansfield 2-2 Carlisle)
After going 2-0 behind away from home in the 80th minute, Carlisle fans didn't have much hope of recovering anything from this one. That was until Elliot Watt stepped up with this stunner to start the fightback. This strike again falls into the cross/shot category, but we're giving him the benefit of the doubt.
Reece Grego-Cox (Crawley 3-1 Scunthorpe)
In-form Crawley picked up another three points with three first half goals finishing Scunthorpe off. The second of those was scored by Grego-Cox, who netted an extraordinary curling effort off the far post.
Jayden Bogle (Derby 4-0 Stoke)
Derby's home form is up there with the very best in the Championship and the Rams made light work of Stoke on Friday night. Wayne Rooney netted a fantastic free-kick, but it was Bogle who claimed the strike of the night with this spectacular finish that made it 4-0 to the Rams.
