With English football now tantalisingly close to returning, Playmaker’s here to whet your appetite with five of the best goals from Europe this weekend. Club football returned to both Spain and Italy, and with the continent’s best sides back in action there were plenty of highlights to get you excited...

          Christian Eriksen: Napoli 1-1 INTER

Italy returned with the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia, and after an absolute snooze-fest on Friday as Juventus knocked out Milan on away goals after a scoreless draw, expectations for Inter v Napoli were a little low. However, after barely a minute played, Christian Eriksen fired home direct from a corner and kicked-off a high quality match that saw Napoli progress to the final where they will meet Juve on Wednesday.

André Silva: Hertha Berlin 1-4 EINTRACHT FRANKFURT

In what had become a mid-table clash after Hertha Berlin's recent impressive form, the home side got off to a quick start, but then the Daichi Kamada show started. The Japanese international gave Hertha a series of headaches before setting up Andre Silva for this wonderful finish.

Toni Kroos: REAL MADRID 3-1 Eibar

There were some very different surroundings for Real Madrid’s comeback game, with La Liga’s second placed side playing their remaining home matches at their training ground, but things were pretty normal on the pitch against Eibar. Toni Kroos opened the scoring with this wonder goal before further efforts from Sergio Ramos and Marcelo.

          Junior Tavares: PORTIMONENSE 2-2 Benfica

Portimonense have been setting the standard when it comes to wonder goals since football returned in Portugal, and despite sitting second bottom in the relegation zone, they’ve given themselves some home by winning their opener before nicking a point off Benfica this weekend, and the goal that secured the point was one to remember.

          Bernard Mensah: Fenerbahce 2-1 KAYSERISPOR

We showed you a wonder free-kick from Ukraine last week, and this time round it’s Turkey’s turn, as Kaysirispor’s Bernard Mensah whipped in this beauty to open the scoring in a 2-1 loss to Fenerbache on Friday night.
