It was an eventful weekend of football across the Premier League and the Championship with the battle for a Champions League spot hotting up by the day in the top flight and Brentford going hell for leather for automatic promotion in the second tier.

There were some cracking goals too and where better to start this week's 'Top Drawer' than with the second tier's promotion-chasing Bees...

Said Benrahma (Brentford) v Derby County

Another week, another cracker from the Algerian forward. This week's Benrahma entry was his side's third goal in a very tough win at Derby County. This stunning 20-yard curler into the top corner ended the Rams' resistance and chalked up Brentford's sixth consecutive win since the restart.

Ryan Leonard (Millwall) v Hull City

Ryan Leonard's first goal of the season for Millwall was certainly one to remember: the midfielder's fantastic strike into the top corner from 25 yards getting the Lions off to the perfect start in their Championship win at struggling Hull.

Nahki Wells (Bristol City) v Middlesbrough

Bristol City may have blown hot and cold this season, but Nahki Wells has been in decent nick throughout - scoring 13 for QPR early in the season and now finding his shooting boots for the Robins. Wells scored his side's opener in a 3-1 at Boro and it was a cracker - a swivelling left footed effort from outside the box that gave the hosts' goalkeeper Dejan Stojanovic absolutely no chance.

Diogo Jota (Wolverhampton) v Everton

Diogo Jota's goal sealed a comprehensive 3-0 win over Everton at Molineux for Wolves. Although the finish was an excellent one, what really elevates the goal though is Jota's compatriot Ruben Neves' contribution. The young Portuguese midfielder recovered the ball inside his half from Bernard and delivered a superb floated pass to release Jota, who made no mistake.

Alexandre Lacazette (Arsenal) v Tottenham

The Gunners eventually lost the latest north London derby, but they took the lead with a bang in their 2-1 defeat to rivals Tottenham. Their early goal came courtesy of French forward Alexandre Lacazette's rocket into the top corner. It was a goal worthy of winning many a game, but Lacazettes's moment of magic was all for naught, as strikes from Son and Toby Alderweireld earned Spurs an important comeback victory.
