A pair of stoppage time goals saw Paris Saint-Germain overturn a 1-0 deficit against Atalanta, pulling off a shock comeback to win 2-1 in Lisbon and advance to the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Thomas Tuchel's men controlled the game possession wise, and had the first big chance through a wastefull Neymar, but it was Atalanta who took the lead. Mario Pasalic curled a first-time shot in from the right side of the area that gave Keylor Navas no chance.
Following Pasalic's goal, PSG were lacking an ideas despite controlling the ball, and at seemed that only Neymar had the imagination to surprise Atalanta's defense, who tempeted their opposition in with a high-line throughout.
Atalanta had battled bravely throughout, and Pasalic's first-half goal had looked set to be enough to send them into the last-four for the first time in the club's history, but Neymar then laid on a 90th-minute equaliser for Marquinhos to scramble in and earn what looked like an unlikely extra 30 minutes.
Then, as the game looked set for extra-time, PSG circled the Atalanta box, before Neymar played a perfect ball in behind the Italian defence allowing substitute Kylian Mbappe to put the winner on a plate, with a first time pass to Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting sending PSG to Champions League semi-finals for the first time in 25 years.
PSG will now face either RB Leipzig or Atletico Madrid in the first semi-final next Tuesday night.
