Wolves started their 2020/21 Premier League campaign at an extraordinary pace, with Raul Jiménez and Romain Saïss both scoring inside the first six minutes, to down Sheffield United and start their season with an easy three points.

An out of sorts Blades defence left the worst person possible free in the middle of their penalty box, with Jiménez perfectly finishing off Daniel Podence’s cross with just 140 seconds on the clock.

And Sheffield United pressed the snooze button on the early wake up call, with Jiménez again going close before Saïss nodded in Pedro Neto’s corner with a backpedaling header just three minutes later.

Wolves continued to create chances with Jiménez somehow looking even better than the impressive number nine we saw last season, leaving Sheffield United ruing missed chances, twice through Billy Sharp, whilst Saïss also continued to impress after his goal, seeing a great chance saved onto the post by debutant Aaron Ramsdale.
