Tottenham are just one game away from the Europa League group stage after beating KF Shkendija 3-1 in the third qualifying round in Macedonia on Thursday night.
Jose Mourinho's side took the lead with just five minutes gone when Son Heung-min found Erik Lamela unmarked inside the box and the Argentinean calmly scored the opener.
With their 5-2 away win last Sunday over Southampton clearly a confidence boost, Spurs were in dominant mood, but Shkendija found themselves back on level terms 10 minutes after half-time when Valjmir Nafiu fired an unstoppable shot past debutant Joe Hart for the equaliser.
The Macedonian side's hopes of an upset grew, but were dashed by the in-form Son, who converted a rebound after Lucas Moura's shot was saved.
Substitute Harry Kane then added a third in the 79th minute to seal the win for Tottenham.
Spurs advance to the Europa League playoff round and will now face Maccabi Haifa at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
FULL-TIME: Second half goals from Sonny and Harry secure victory in North Macedonia.
