Back for more as we pick out the key results from today's EFL action...
We're back! After a pandemic ruined EFL campaign, all top four tiers were back in action with some surprise results all round. Let Playmaker guide you through a hectic day of football, and who came out best, and worst.
Reading: Three wins in three and top of the league, Reading’s 2-1 victory over Cardiff today not only improved life for new coach Veljko Paunović, but for Lucas Joao, the Portugese forward continuing his fast start to the season with another goal.
Blackburn: Rovers can’t stop scoring, making it 45 for the season with a 4-0 romp away at Derby thanks to a Bradley Johnson brace and yet another from Adam Armstrong. The total of 45 makes them the third highest scoring team in England’s top four tiers in 2020.

Doncaster: A 4-1 win over Bristol Rovers makes it seven points from nine games for Doncaster to start the season, building on a decent 2019/20 under Darren Moore, Rovers have got off to a fast start as they aim for the play-offs.
Wimbledon: Consolidating after a nervy time out last season, Wimbledon add their first win after two draws, and an impressive one too, 1-0 over a decent Fleetwood side with Joe Piggot scoring yet again.
Swindon: After a loss to Blackpool last time out, Swindon go big with a 4-2 win over Burton, and now only Doncaster have scored more League One goals than their seven.
Newport: Off the back of an impressive cupset against Watford, a 2-0 win over Bolton leaves Newport on seven points in League Two, where no side has more this season.
Derby: Pointless after three games, the pressure’s piling on Phillip Cocu after a horrendous 4-0 home defeat against Blackburn that leaves the Ram with one scored and eight conceded after three games.
Bristol Rovers: Sitting bottom of the third tier are Bristol Rovers, who’s humbling 4-1 loss to Doncaster leaves coach Ben Garner in a whole world of trouble.
Rochdale: Without talisman Ian Henderson, things aren’t looking great for Rochdale, who’s 2-0 loss to Ipswich leaves them on a single point so far this season.
Portsmouth: And with only a point more, but much bigger aspirations, are Portsmouth, whose 2-1 loss to Wigan makes it an incredibly frustrating start to the season.
Bolton: Wanderers start to life in League Two couldn’t have gone much worse, with a 2-0 loss to Newport leaving them pointless after three games with five goals conceded and zero scored.
