Liverpool's Mohamed Salah has tested positive for coronavirus while away on international duty with Egypt.

The Egyptian Football Federation confirmed on Friday that the 28-year-old forward has returned a positive test, but at the moment has no symptoms. He is currently the only squad member to do so with every other Egypt player returning negative tests.

Salah will now be sidelined for Egypt's back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Togo and could potentially miss Liverpool's next two games against Leicester in the Premier League on 22 November and Atalanta on 25 November in the Champions League.

The Reds' talisman is currently joint-top of the Premier League goal charts with eight goals.
