Plymouth Argyle handed a significant blow to Leicester City's hopes of automatic promotion while simultaneously boosting their own chances of avoiding relegation with a 1-0 triumph at Home Park.
Despite being dominated in the initial 20 minutes, the hosts broke the deadlock when Mustapha Bundu calmly finished a counter-attack with his right foot.
Although the visitors pressed hard and had opportunities to change the outcome, but they were unable to find the back of the net.
With this result, the Foxes remain level on points with second-placed Ipswich, while third-placed Leeds are one point behind, with all three teams having four matches remaining before Saturday's games.
Meanwhile, Argyle rose to 16th place after securing their first home win in seven matches under the interim leadership of director of football Neil Dewsnip and first-team coach Kevin Nancekivell and they now have a five-point cushion above the relegation zone.
Since the dismissal of head coach Ian Foster, Argyle have remained undefeated in their last three games, winning seven out of a possible nine points.
