Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor will reportedly represent Togo in the Africa Cup of Nations.
The 28-year-old has said last year that he would not go to the tournament, which will take place in South Africa from January 19 to February 10, due to a disagreement over team security and unpaid bosuses.
However, according to reports from Africa, the Togo international has changed his mind and has flown to Ghana to meet up with the Hawks for their pre-trournament training camp.
"Of course we're in the African Nations Cup with Adebayor, we will be together in South Africa," head of the Togo Football Federation, Ameyi Gabriel, is reported to have told Radio Algeria International.
"It is very important to have him there because he is our player and captain of the team."
Adebayor's absence will be a big blow for Spurs, despite having only scored three times for the Londoners this season, as their only other senior strike is Jermain Defoe.
