Sarina Wiegman has named her squad for the final group games of the UEFA Women’s Nations League with Beth Mead making her return.
The Lionesses have two vital games if they hope to progress to the Nations League finals beginning with the visit of group leaders Netherlands to Wembley on December 1st – with England currently two points behind the Dutch.
Following that game, a trip to Hampden Park to take on Scotland follows with Wiegman’s team needing wins from both to guarantee a spot in the final four.
Mead’s inclusion is the Arsenal player’s first since her ACL injury one year ago after having previously been deemed not yet ready for the last England squad.
Meanwhile, Khiara Keating and Grace Clinton keep their places in the squad with both players looking to earn their first caps.
The last #Lionesses squad of 2023! 👊
