Eric Dier could be set to leave Tottenham Hotspur in January to return to Portugal after having yet to play for Tottenham Hotspur this season.
The 29-year-old was an unused substitute for Ange Postecoglou’s side in their win over Luton Town at the weekend but is yet to get any minutes under his new manager.
Dier grew up primarily in Portugal and came through the academy at Sporting before breaking through to the first team in 2012.
Just two years later, Dier moved to Tottenham Hotspur where he has gone on to 361 games, scoring 13 goals.
