Tottenham confirmed top spot in their Europa League group with a 2-0 win over Royal Antwerp at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday night.
With both teams already qualified for the next round, the game understandably lacked intensity and, although the hosts controlled the game, it remained in the balance in the first half.
Jose Mourinho's side took the lead after the break, however, when Carlos Vinicius anticipated well to tap into a empty net after Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand had done remarkably well to keep put Gareth Bale's initial free-kick.
Giovanni Lo Celso ended any Belgian hopes of finishing top of the group when he doubled Spurs' lead in the 71st minute, with substitute Harry Kane chalking up yet another assist.
As group winners, Tottenham will be in the seeded pot for Monday's draw, which should bring them a more favourable tie in the last 32. Antwerp, meanwhile, join the North Londoners as unseeded group runners-up.
