A late Roberto Firmino goal earned Liverpool a 2-1 victory over Mexican side Monterrey to seal the Reds' place in the FIFA Club World Cup final.
Liverpool only managed to vanquish their tough Mexican opponents in added second-half injury time in a gritty encounter.
Naby Keita opened the scoring after an amazing pass from Mohamed Salah, but Rogelio Funes Mori equalised two minutes later for Monterrey when Liverpool's defence went walkabout and the Argentinian reacted first to beat Alisson Becker.
In the second-half, Jurgen Klopp had to bring on the big guns: Sadio Mane, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Firmino coming off the bench - the latter pair involved in the winner, as Alexander-Arnold found Firmino inside the box and the Brazilian swept home.
This victory puts Liverpool in the final where they will meet Copa Libertadores winners, Flamengo, who beat Al Hilal yesterday in the other semi-final.
