Jordan Rhodes' renaissance at Blackpool continued on Saturday, as the Tangerines comfortably eased past Stevenage to move to within touching distance of the play-off positions in the third tier.
The Scottish striker scored his seventh of the season to open the scoring at Bloomfield Road, and further strikes from Owen Dale and CJ Hamilton after the break set the seal on an impressive win over a Stevenage side who remain fifth in League One despite the defeat.
Aside from Robert Street (who has scored Cheltenham's only league goal this season!), no player in the division has scored a higher percentage of his team's goals this season than Rhodes (47%) this season and the 33-year-old appears to be enjoying a new lease of life on loan from Huddersfield.
Blackpool can now look forward to a clash against high-flying Oxford United next weekend in what looks set to be a cracker.
Burton bouncing back
After a poor start to the season that saw the Brewers go seven games without a win in all competitions, Burton have found form - and Dino Maamria's side chalked up a third straight League One win in a tight affair versus Lincoln at Sincil Bank.
However, the game's match-winning goal came from a Lincoln player with Harrison Burroughs turning past his own keeper Lukas Jensen, as the Imps fell to their first home defeat of the season.
Elsewhere, Leyton Orient recorded a narrow 1-0 win over Carlisle United in a game that pitted two newly-promoted teams against one another. The visiting O's were indebted to forward Ruel Sotiriou's well-taken finish for their three points - the 23-year-old running onto Joe Pigott's excellent through ball to round keeper Tomás Holy and slot home.
The only other League One game of the day - due to a flurry of postponements related to the international break - saw Shrewsbury Town claim a late point at Cambridge United.
The U's took the lead midway through the second period courtesy of defender Michael Morrison's goal, but the Shrews bagged a dramatic late equaliser when Taylor Perry crashed home a loose ball with two minutes of normal time remaining.
