5. Joel Pereira: 1 Premier League appearance
Sneaking into our list of Manchester United's Portuguese Premier Leaguers is reserve goalkeeper Joel Pereira.
The fact the over-riding response to his inclusion will be 'Joel Who?' doesn't bode well for a player who is, rather amazingly, still on Manchester United's books at the age of 23.
Behind David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Lee Grant and, surely, Sheffield United loanee Dean Henderson in the goalkeeping pecking order, Pereira is currently on loan at Scottish Premiership side Hearts.
His career at Old Trafford to date simply hasn't got going - although he can at least say he is unbeaten and hasn't let in a goal for United in the Premier League: his one top flight appearance for the Red Devils coming in a 2-0 win against Crystal Palace in the 2016/17 season.
Not much more to be said about the lesser-spotted Pereira, other than that Fernandes' nine games blow the young goalkeeper's eight seasons at Old Trafford out of the water.
