Venezuela defeated by Chile

Chile triumphed over Venezuela, 3x1, on Tuesday, in a game relating to mathweek 14. Before this matchday, Chile's national team came from a defeat, and Venezuela's national team came from a draw. Esteban Paredes runned the show.

The first goal of the game was scored by Alexis Sánchez, after 5 minutes.  with 7 minutes on the clock, Esteban Paredes doubled the lead for Chile.  in the 22nd minute, Chile's national team extended their lead with a goal from forward. 

In the 63rd minute, Salomón Rondón netted the final goal of the game, laid on by Rómulo Otero. With 77 minutes on the clock, Alexis Sánchez could have scored for Juan Antonio Pizzi's team, but Wuilker Fariñez has brilliantly saved the penalty.

After the result Chile are 4th in the table, with 23 points, while Venezuela sit 10th place, with 6 points. In the next fixture, Rafael Dudamel's team will host Colômbia.
