Hull City in complete control

Hull City defeated Preston North End in a win on Saturday, 1x4, on to matchday 1 of the Championship. Both Preston's team and Kingston Upon Hull's team held their first game in the competition.

Emil Riis opened the score in the 8th minute, with a left-foot shot inside the box. After 35 minutes, Keane Lewis-Potter fired home for Hull City, with a right-foot strike, laid on by Richard Smallwood.

With 62 minutes on the clock, midfielder struck the second goal for Kingston Upon Hull's team, with a right-foot shot from outside the penalty box, after a pass from George Moncur. After 85 minutes, Josh Magennis doubled the lead for Grant McCann's team, with a left-foot strike inside the penalty area. Andy Cannon netted the last goal deep into added time with a right-foot strike.
