Nothing to separate VfL Bochum and FC Köln

Relating to matchweek 20 of the 1. Bundesliga, the game between VfL Bochum and FC Köln on Saturday ended in a draw, 2x2. In this competition, both teams came from a defeat.

With 25 minutes on the clock, Gerrit Holtmann opened the scoring for VfL Bochum, with a right-foot strike, with Jurgen Locadia making the assist. In the 36th minute, Timo Hubers fired home for FC Köln, from a corner. After 45 minutes, Anthony Modeste struck the second goal for Köln's team, with a right-foot strike from outside the penalty box, after a pass from Florian Kainz.

Sub Takuma Asano, in the 65th minute, changed the course of the game. Forward netted the last goal after 70 minutes with a right-foot shot inside the penalty area.

After the result FC Köln are 8th in the table, with 29 points, while VfL Bochum sit 11th place, with 24 points. In the next fixture, Bochum's team will play away against Hertha BSC, whilst Köln's team will play at home against SC Freiburg.
