Monaco defeated Real Sociedad, 2x1, on Thursday, on to matchday 5 of the Europa League. In this competition, both teams came from a draw.
The first goal of the game was scored by Kevin Volland, with a right-foot strike inside the box, in the 28th minute. With this strike, Kevin Volland reached 5th goals for the season. After 35 minutes, Alexander Isak fired home for Real Sociedad, with a right-foot shot inside the penalty box, created by Adnan Januzaj. Youssouf Fofana netted the last goal in the 37th minute.
In the final minutes of the game, midfielder left the game early after seeing a red card.
