UEFA Youth League: Real Madrid thrash Sheriff

Real Madrid overcame Sheriff in a win on Tuesday, 4x1, on to matchday 2 of the UEFA Youth League. Coming into the contest, Madrid's team came from a draw, and Tiraspol's team came from a defeat. Bruno Iglesias was the man of the match.

The first goal was scored by Javier Villar after 37 minutes.

In an unlucky moment Pau Ferrer scored an own goal in the 47th minute. After 51 minutes, Bruno Iglesias fired home Real Madrid second goal, assisted by Gonzalo García. With 71 minutes on the clock, Bruno Iglesias doubled the lead for Madrid's team, from the penalty spot. After 79 minutes, Julen Landabaso scored the last goal of the match, laid on by David González .

After the result Real Madrid are 1st in the table, with 13 points, while Sheriff sit 4th place, with 0 points. With regard to the next fixture, Hernán Pérez's team visit Shakhtar Donetsk, while Andrei Corneencov's team will play away against Internazionale.
