Euro U17: França beat Portugal after a penalty shootout

França and Portugal drew 2x2 in a match on Sunday, in a match relating to the semi-finals of Euro U17.

The first goal was scored by Warren Zaire in the 8th minute, with a right-foot shot from outside the box. With 12 minutes on the clock, Afonso Moreira fired home for Portugal, assisted by Ussumane Djaló. After 20 minutes, Dário Essugo scored the second goal for portugueses, laid on by Leonardo Barroso. In a very unlucky moment, João Muniz scored an own-goal shortly before the interval.

With this result, França are into the next round of the competition. In the next fixture, José Alcocer's team will play at home against Países Baixos.
