Wrexham crushed Oldham Athletic in a fantastic win on Saturday, 5x1, on to matchday 41 of the National League. In this competition, Phil Parkinson's team came from four wins, and David Unsworth's team came from three draws. Paul Mullin made a tremendous game.
The first goal was scored by Eoghan O´Connell after 24 minutes. After 33 minutes, Paul Mullin struck the second goal for Wrexham. Shortly before the interval, Liam Hogan fired home for Oldham Athletic.
In the 50th minute, Elliot Lee doubled the lead for Phil Parkinson's team. With 70 minutes on the clock, Wrexham extended their lead with a goal from Paul Mullin. In the final minutes of the game, David Unsworth's team saw Mike Fondop leave the game early with a direct red card. Paul Mullin completed the hat-trick, with 90 minutes already on the clock.
After the result Wrexham are 1st in the table, with 100 points, while Oldham Athletic sit 15th place, with 47 points. In the next fixture, Phil Parkinson's team visit Halifax Town, while David Unsworth's team will host Altrincham.
