Italy edged out Malta, 0x2, on Sunday, in a match relating to the Grp.C of the Euro Qualifying. In the starting XI there was Jodi Jones, Emerson Palmieri and Willy Gnonto.
After 15 minutes, Mateo Retegui opened the scoring for Italy, with a right-foot strike inside the penalty area. Matteo Pessina netted the last goal with 27 minutes on the clock with a left-foot shot.
In relation to forthcoming league matches, Italy will play away against Macedonia, whilst Malta will host England.
