Austria get the better of Estonia

Austria edged out Estonia, 2x1, on Monday, in a match relating to the Grp.F of the Euro Qualifying. Both Ralf Rangnick's team and Thomas Häberli's team played their first game in the competition. In the starting XI there was Karl Hein.

In the 17th minute, Michael Gregoritsch had a golden opportunity on his feet to score but missed a penalty. Rauno Sappinen opened the score with 25 minutes on the clock.

After 68 minutes, Florian Kainz struck for Austria. Michael Gregoritsch scored the winning goal in the closing stages of the game.

In the next fixture, Austria visit Belgium, while Estonia will play away against Azerbaijan.
