West Ham triumphed over Bristol Rovers, 1x3, on Tuesday, in a match relating to the Grp.H of the EFL Trophy. Both Joey Barton's team and Steve Potts's team held their first game in the competition. Callum Marshall with a superb display.

In the final minutes of the game, Callum Marshall wrapped things up. In time added on, Joey Barton's team saw Connor Taylor get sent off due to accumulation of yellows.
