Isco joins select band of hat-trickers

In scoring his first career hat-trick last Tuesday for Spain, Isco has joined a select band of players to scored hat-tricks against Argentina - and become only the second European player to do so.

The list dates all the way back to 1919 when Uruguay's Piendibene scored three in a friendly match in Montevideo.

Arch-enemy Brazil boast three players that have managed to score a hat-trick against the Argentinians: Pelé, Rivaldo and Ronaldo.

Yugoslavia's Sead Susic and Bolivian Joaquín Botero complete the list.
