Croatian winger Ivan Perisic has joined Bayern Munich on a one-year loan from Serie A club Inter Milan.
The 30-year-old had been linked with Premier League clubs such as Arsenal and Manchester United, but Bayern have completed a loan deal for Perisic that includes an option to buy the Croatian at its end.
Perisic has previous Bundesliga experience having represented Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg in the German top flight, the winger leaving the latter in 2015 to join Inter.
The winger helped Croatia to the 2018 World Cup final, which they eventually lost 4-2 to France.
"I'm very glad to be back in Germany," said Perisic. "Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in Europe.
"We want to go on the attack, not only in the Bundesliga and the DFB Cup, but also in the Champions League."
