Playmaker is back with another stunning edition of the 'Top Drawer'! This week's installment sees goals from up and down the country across each of the four leagues - with some spectacular efforts finding the back of the net.
Son Heung-Min (Spurs 5-0 Burnley)
We start in the Premier League this week with a sensational solo effort. Son ran the entire length of the pitch, leaving a trail of beaten Burnley players in his wake, and then kept his head to finish clinically. It's already being dubbed “Goal of the Season” by many good judges.
Ezgjan Alioski (Huddersfield 0-2 Leeds)
With the West Yorkshire derby stuck in a stalemate, Leeds broke the deadlock from a corner. The ball may have been half-cleared by the Terriers, but the danger was far from alleviated: Alioski burying a sweetly-struck volley to settle the nerves of the travelling fans.
Jeremie Bela (Reading 2-3 Birmingham)
Not many fans expected the ball to find the net from this free kick, but Bela defied the odds to score an outrageous long free-kick against the Royals. Even Bela seemed surprised that he'd rifled the ball into the net.
Aaron Morley (Rotherham 0-1 Rochdale)
A brilliant move ended by a brilliant finish. Rochdale’s passing style certainly reaped its rewards, with the ball switching flanks before eventually falling to Morley who curled it into the back of the net. An honourable mention goes to Callum Camps for the dummy as well.
Abo Eisa (Forest Green 0-2 Scunthorpe)
After battling his way through midfield, Eisa carried the ball into Forest Green’s third, before smashing home a screamer from distance. Eisa's strike was an all-round quality goal that helped the Iron move out of the relegation zone in League Two.
