The EFL have today confirmed the dates for this season’s play-offs games, with a dozen fixtures set to take place over seven days across the Championship, League One and League Two.
With the regular season finishing on Saturday 8 May in the Championship and League Two, and League One ending on Sunday 9 May, the EFL has released the dates for the play-off games that will determine which teams join those that are automatically promoted.
The play-off semi-final first legs will take place between Monday 17 May and Thursday 20 May with the second-legs scheduled between 21-23 May.
The 'Finals Weekend' at Wembley will take place across the May Bank Holiday, with the Championship on Saturday 29 May, League One on Sunday 30 May, and the League Two finale on Monday 31 May.
Teams that finish between 3rd and 6th place will bag a play-off spot in the Championship and League One, with League Two's play-off sides being those that place between 4th and 7th at the end of the regular season.
The EFL also confirmed the release date for the 2021/22 fixture lists - which will be announced on Thursday 24 June at 9am.
