Riyad Mahrez scored a double, as Manchester City beat Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 on Tuesday night to complete a 4-1 Champions League semi-final victory on aggregate - Pep Guardiola's side will now face Chelsea or Real Madrid in the final on May 29.
The Citizens showed real character and team spirit to contain and overcome Mauricio Pochettino's PSG - who finished the game with ten men after the second-half dismissal of Angel Di Maria.
From Ederson in goal to man-of-the-match Ruben Dias, from the effervescent Phil Foden to matchwinner Mahrez, every City player played their part in a mightily impressive victory over the two legs.
It's Guardiola's first final since he won his second Champions League as Barcelona manager in 2011 and the Catalonian is close to completing the mission he was appointed for back in 2016/17.
City will travel to the final in Istanbul with great confidence after becoming the first English side to win 11 games in a single Champions League/European Cup campaign, having only drawn with FC Porto. Guardiola's men are just one win away from levelling the record of 12 wins set by Real Madrid in 2001/02.
Furthermore, City have strung together the longest ever winning run by an English team in the Champions League/European Cup games - seven games!
Mahrez also became only the second player to score in both legs of a Champions League semi-final for an English club - after Sadio Mané, who managed the feat for Liverpool in their last four victory over AS Roma in 2017-18.
Relive a historic night as we booked our place in the Champions League final! 🏆💙
