UCL and UEL winners in the Prem

The end of an intense and unique season is galloping up on the rails and three English sides, both Manchester clubs and Chelsea, this week booked safe passage to showpiece European finals.

The shadows of the failed ESL breakaway may still linger, but it was a huge week for the English trio and the focus of this Friday's quiz can't be anywhere other than the Champions League/Europa League. 

On Tuesday, Man City put in an exceptional performance to dispatch PSG (4-1 on aggregate) and reach their first-ever Champions League final, where they will face Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea who put Real Madrid to the sword the following day, 3-1 over two legs.

Last night, Manchester United clocked up an 8-5 aggregate win over AS Roma to set up a Europa League final against Villarreal; Arsenal unfortunately unable to join the Red Devils in another all-English final after the Gunners crashed out after a goal-less draw against the Spaniards (2-1 on aggregate).

It was a stupendous week of football and the big games keep coming: City set to face Chelsea tomorrow, in a dress rehearsal of the Champions League final. Should they win, the Citizens will be crowned Premier League champions to add spice to what is already an intriguing encounter.

Note: Oriol Romeu was in the Chelsea squad that won the Champions League in 2012 and Europa League 2013. However, in his specific case, he didn't play a single minute in the Blues' successful Europa League campaign...so we didn't include him in this list!
