Turkish midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu appears set to join a long and star-studded list of players to play for both Milan and Inter, swapping red for black when his current contract with AC expires next week.
Çalhanoğlu was one of the main reasons for Milan’s success this season, leading Europe’s top five leagues with a massive 98 key passes, while recording four goals and nine assists.
His four-year contract at the club will end on June 30th, with Milan expected to re-sign the midfielder, but now rivals Inter have swooped in, reportedly securing the 27-year-old on a deal that runs until 2024.
Çalhanoğlu joins an impressive list of players to play for both Milan clubs, including the likes of Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Andrea Pirlo, Clarence Seedorf, and Hernan Crespo.
