Man City have tabled a £100 million bid for Aston Villa's Jack Grealish, according to reports in The Telegraph.
Villa were contacted by City on Thursday regarding a Premier League-record offer that would far outstrip the £89million paid by Man United for Paul Pogba back in 2016.
Despite City's overtures, Villa have not given up hope of retaining Grealish's services and are reportedly willing to offer the England midfielder a lucrative new contract worth £200,000-a-week.
The 25-year-old remains Pep Guardiola's priority signing alongside Spurs forward Harry Kane.
