Harry Kane failed to show up on this morning at Tottenham’s training ground, where he was due to report after a post-Euro 2020 break.
The 28-year-old forward was due back at the club's training ground for Covid tests and pre-season training on Monday following a short holiday.
The England captain is determined to leave amid interest from Manchester City but Spurs and their chairman Daniel Levy have let it be known they have no intention of selling him and according to reports, a bid from City of £100m has already been turned down.
Kane, who has three years left on his contract, believes he has a 'gentleman's agreement' with Levy but he has made it clear he will refuse to accept a bid of less than £150m.
City are also trying to sign Aston Villa's Jack Grealish, have made an offer of £100m for him, but in this case, the England international reported for his first day of pre-season training at Villa's training ground.
