As part of our regular round-up of top performers across 'The 72', here are FIVE stars who shone this Saturday.

      John Egan (Sheffield United)

Defender Egan bagged himself a brace in Sheffield United's 3-1 win at Hull earlier today in what was a vital win for the Blades, as they look to push them away from the Championship's bottom three.

A man of the match performance from the Irish centre back saw him complete the game with a pass accuracy of 92%, as well as win three of his six duels both aerially and on the ground.

      Ovie Ejaria (Reading)

Ejaria put in a tremendous display to seriously dent Fulham's credentials as potential winners of the Championship this season.

The Royals upset the apple cart with a 2-1 win and Ejaria bagged both goals for the Berkshire side to earn top billing.

The progressive attacking midfielder was the most fouled player in the match (4 times), and also won the most duels in the match (13 times). It was s statement performance from the Royals, who move up to 14th in the table.

      Charlie Wyke (Wigan Athletic)

Wyke bagged a brace in Wigan's 4-1 demolition of Accrington Stanley at the Wham Stadium, to suggest that the Latics did sound business in signing him from Sunderland in the summer.

Despite having the least touches of any outfield player to play 90 minutes (29 touches), he scored two of his three efforts on target. Job done.

      Gareth McCleary (Wycombe Wanderers)

McCleary was another to score a brace in the EFL this weekend as Wycombe beat Charlton 2-1 at Adams Park.

Despite losing possession on more occasions than any player throughout the match (four times), McCleary took care of his business - scoring two of his four total shots during the 90 minutes.

      Nicky Cadden (Forest Green Rovers)

One of four scorers in Forest Green Rover's impressive 4-0 victory at Stevenage, Nicky Cadden's reputation continues to grow.

The Scottish midfielder put in a man of the match performance, completing the most amount of dribbles in the match (2), as well as creating the chances (6).

The win cements FGR's place at the top of the League Two table - Rovers seemingly well-placed for a genuine promotion push this season.
