Sheffield United are set to dismiss coach Slavisa Jovanovic after just six months despite the Blades winning their last game against Reading.
Jayden Bogle scored the only goal of the game in Sheffield's trip to Reading on Tuesday. But according to reports from BBC Sheffield, it isn't enough to save the Serbian's job with United currently 16th in the Championship. The Blades have lost five of their last ten games in the league.
Reports also suggest that the manager has clashed with the club's board of the budget and that under-23s coach Paul Heckingbottom will take charge of Sheffield United's game at home to Bristol City on Sunday.
Jovanovic signed a three-year deal with Sheffield earlier this year following the departure of Chris Wilder, following previous spells in England with Fulham and Watford.
A cushioned side footed finish from Jayden Bogle to give us all 3 points. 🙌
