Struggling for goals in the EFL

Under Mark Robinson, AFC Wimbledon have played a progressive style of football that has had an emphasis on youth. At one stage at the start of the season, there were concerns that it was too open.

After their 2-0 defeat against Ipswich Town at the weekend, however, in 2022, they have managed to score just one goal in six matches in League One and the FA Cup. That run can be extended to just one goal in their last seven games after they lost 3-0 to Oxford United on December 29.
