Manchester City came back from two-down in the second-half to earn a point against West Ham at London Stadium.
Action: The game started as usual in a Man City game, with the visitors dominating possession, but West Ham sat deep in an attempt to deny City space.
Midway the first-half, the hosts took the lead when Jarrod Bowen beat the offside trap, rounded past Ederson and produced a fine finish into the far corner.
On the stroke of half-time, the Hammers doubled their lead again through Bowen. The English forward raced in behind City's defence again and slotted past Ederson.
Pep Guardiola's men were much improved after the break, when Jack Grealish pulled inside four minutes of the restart with a volley from Rodri’s knockdown that flicked off Craig Dawson’s leg and over Lukasz Fabianski.
West Ham had a glorious chance to restore their two-goal lead, when Michail Antonio missed one-on-one with Ederson.
The Citizens managed to level the game in the 68th minute, after Vladimir Coufal, in an unlucky moment, headed into his own net from Riyad Mahrez's free kick.
From that point onwards, it felt like there would only be one winner and City had the chance to a epic comeback but they were denied the victory when Fabianski saved Mahrez’s 84th minute penalty following Dawson’s trip on Gabriel Jesus.
Big Picture: With this result, Man City are now four points clear of Liverpool who have one game behind and are seven goals worse off in terms of goal difference.
This also means that, the Reds need to get a result against Southampton at St Mary’s on Tuesday, because a defeat would hand the Premier League title to Man City.
The draw keeps the title race in City's hands heading into the final game of the season, when a win against Aston Villa would be enough to be crowned champions.
The result was also positive for West Ham as they secured European football for next season.
xG: West Ham (1.56) 2-2 (2.49) Man City
Stat of the Day: This was the first time Man City have come back from two goals down in a top-flight game since 2012.
