Real Madrid have presented their new signing, Antonio Rüdiger, after completing the signing of the German on a free transfer.
Rudiger’s exit to the European champions has been on the cards for some time but the sage is now completely over as the player was unveiled by Real Madrid. The 29-year-old signed a four-year contract and will wear the number 22 shirt.
“This is a very special day for my family and for me,” the former Roma and Stuttgart player said at his presentation.
“I'd like to thank my parents because, without them, I never would have got here. They have always supported me and that's been hugely important throughout my life. I'd also like to thank the president for giving me the chance to play for this great club. I can promise you that I'll give my all for this club to win every possible trophy. Hala Madrid y nada más!”
Rudger is the second reinforcement for Carlo Ancelotti’s team following the arrival of defensive midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni on a €100m package deal earlier this month.
