Dean Henderson is closer to leaving Manchester United on loan with Nottingham Forest having agreed a deal for the player.
According to Daniel Taylor of The Athletic, newly-promoted Forest are to pay the goalkeeper’s wages in full with the deal now only subject to a medical. There’s no word yet a bout whether the deal also includes a potential fee for a permanent transfer in the future.
With the improved form of David De Gea, Henderson was limited to just three first team appearances for the Red Devils last season.
The move would also mean that Forest wouldn’t be able to re-sign James Garner on loan from United for another season after the midfielder helped Steve Cooper’s team return to the top flight.
