England U19s booked their place in the UEFA European Under-19 Championship Final after completing a second-half comeback to beat Italy 2-1 in Slovakia.
The Squadra Azzurra took the lead after midfielder Fabio Miretti won and converted a penalty with 11 minutes on the clock.
In the second-half, England started to pin Italy back and in the 57th minute, substitute Alex Scott headed in Alfie Devine's corner and levelled the semi-final.
With less than 10 minutes to go, England again scored from a corner with Harvey Vale’s set-piece flicked on by an Italian player and headed home by Jarell Quansah from close range to make it 2-1.
Just by reaching the semi-finals, the Young Lions had already secured their place in next year’s Under-20 World Cup, but they will now have a chance to repeat their 2017 success as England progress into Friday’s final where they will face either France or Israel.
Through to Friday's #U19EURO final 😀
