Brighton centre-back Shane Duffy has joined Fulham on a season-long loan.
The 30-year-old Irish defender becomes the Cottagers' sixth summer signing after their promotion to the Premier League last season.
"I'm delighted. It's a really exciting challenge for me and the Club, one I'm really looking forward to," said Duffy.
The west Londoners had already bolstered their squad with the addition of Bernd Leno, Joao Palhinha, Andreas Pereira, Kevin Mbabu and Manor Solomon this summer.
Last season, Duffy made 18 top flight appearances for Brighton whose boss Graham Potter explained that he could not guarantee the defender regular football this season.
"There was no pressure on him to leave, but typically he wanted to play regular football, and while he was still part of our wider squad, we could not guarantee him that," said Seagulls manager Potter.
"This move will give him that opportunity, which is really important to him as the captain of the Republic of Ireland, and Fulham are getting a player who has great experience at this level."
