Following the appointment of Paul Warne, Derby County have been much-improved and they are pushing for a top six spot and looking to get ahead of their presumed schedule by gaining promotion this season. The Rams are unbeaten in their last nine matches inside 90 minutes across all competitions. They now face a Sheffield Wednesday side that are indeed one of the seven sides above Derby in the table. The South Yorkshire club have enjoyed three successive League One victories as they challenge for the top two and the automatic promotion spots.

Stevenage vs Barrow | 19:45 on Friday
Under the management of Steve Evans, Stevenage have been very impressive across all competitions so far this season. ‘Boro sit firmly inside the top three and the automatic promotion places ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures. One of the teams chasing them is their upcoming opponents, Barrow. The Cumbrians sit four points outside of the top three but their 3-1 defeat of Hartlepool United in their most recent League Two outing a couple of weeks ago was their fourth victory in five matches.
