Cristiano Ronaldo is set to sign a deal with Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr on January 1, according to Spanish newspaper Marca.
The Portuguese footballer has agreed a two-and-a-half-year contract.
There are many economic incentives as Ronaldo is expected to take home a staggering amount of €200million (£173m) per season, which would make him the highest paid athlete in the world.
After his departure from Manchester United just prior to the World Cup, following his controversial interview with Piers Morgan, Portugal's captain was looking for a new club and Al-Nassr seemed the most interested in his services.
The 37-year-old is currently with the national team, who will be playing against Switzerland tomorrow at 7pm in the last game of the Round of 16 at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
💣🚨 ¡¡Cristiano, caso cerrado!!
