Premier League players to grace 'El Clásico'

There's a mouthwatering menu of football in store this weekend with a raft of exciting ties lined up - including the FA Cup quarter-finals, the Rome derby in Serie A and a gargantuan 'El Clásico' tussle between Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The latter is arguably the biggest club match in world football and, as is so often the case, the two Spanish superpowers sit at the summit of the Spanish top flight going into the game: Barcelona nine points clear of reigning La Liga champions Real.

A victory for the Catalans would go a long way to sealing their first league title under legendary former midfielder Xavi...but fresh from booking their place in the last eight of the Champions League midweek, Carlo Ancelotti's Real Madrid will be hellbent on cutting the deficit at the top of the table.
